An exciting opportunity exists to align your organization with Perth Glory head coach, David Zdrilic. Zdrilic enjoyed a 17-year professional playing career, scoring 21 goals in 31 appearances for the Socceroos, and playing in five countries, including stints with Sydney United and Sydney FC, where he helped secure the inaugural A-League championship.
Zdrilic transitioned into coaching, combining playing and coaching at Sydney United. He furthered his coaching education with trips to Europe’s top clubs and media work with SBS, ESPN, and Fox Sports. In 2017, he joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, working under renowned coaches Ralf Rangnick, Julian Nagelsmann, and Ralph Hasenhuttl.
In 2020, he became Assistant Head Coach at MLS club Chicago Fire, followed by roles at Belgian outfit K.V. Oostende and Italian club Genoa. In August 2023, he was appointed Assistant Head Coach at Sydney FC.
David’s extensive knowledge of football and coaching experience bring a wealth of success to Perth Glory. His philosophy on culture and leadership underpins his values on and off the pitch, demonstrated by his high work ethic and dedication to improving those around him.
